About Project Summer Flower 2009 and new flowers

by Henrik (10/05/09) Email

Thing are overall going great and my balcony is looking nice. Most of the flowers from Project Summer flower 2009 have been moved to their permanent pot and spot and some new flowers have moved in. Unfortunately most of my photos on the balcony didn't turn out that great, but I don't feel like reshooting them so I'm using them anyway. I want to post this little report as soon as possible.

In the upper half of my shelf I now have three French Marigold and two new flowers. The two new plants are both birthday gifts. The plant with the blue flowers is a Hydrangea and the one with the yellow flower I don't know what it is.

In the lower half of my shelf is one of last years birthday gifts that survived the winter. Strictly speaking, it's not the same plant as the birthday gift. What is growing in the pot today comes from the onions that I saved from the last years plant.

The rhubarb plant did survive winter standing in my cellar. I didn't know if it would. So far it does look a little weak but it will hopefully start growing strong after I give it some fertilizer.

In the box that is hanging on the bannister is three Blue Minks and two French Marigold. As you can see on the picture below I made two boxes with the same arrangement.

And here is the the wallflower plants. They aren't doing that great, I think I over watered them, but it seems like they are making a comeback. I want to succeed with them, but I don't know where to put them if I do.

Balcony report
More birthday gifts. Three vegetable plants. A Tomato plant, a cucumber plant and something else. It will be exciting to see if I manage to get some vegetables from them or not.

Balcony report
A couple of plants from Project Summer flower 2009 that hasn't as of yet found their permanent spot to grow on.

Balcony report
Another birthday gift. A little rose bush.
