Simpson likes to jump
by Henrik (11/10/11)

And he is really good at it too. I stitched a few photographs together, because I felt a single one couldn't accurately portray how high he can jump.

A failed attempt at catching the ball mid-air.
Simpson in water

We took Simpson to the dog beach. He loved it. I took a few pictures on him enjoying the water and the beach.

The Tiger Temple - Part 3 (the non-tigers post)
by Henrik (12/02/11)
Last post with pictures from the Tiger Temple. This time with photos on non-tiger animals. There were a lot of other animals roaming around freely on the temple grounds and I didn't waste any opportunity to take photographs of them. They were mostly farm animals, but we saw some wild animals too. These are the best pictures I managed to take on them.

Simpson in low light / high contrast - Part 2

While photographing Simpson, he decided to move to a new place and I though it would be fitting to separate the photos based on the move.
The Tiger Temple (with Tigers!) - Part 1
by Henrik (04/01/11)

I still have plenty of pictures from my Thailand/Cambodia trip to show and I'm no way near the end of posting them. This time I'm posting my pictures from our visit to the Tiger Temple with Tigers. I have to add "with Tigers" because I was told there are many temples called "Tiger Temple", but this one is the only one with real tigers. The trip to the temple was something I planed in advance because I had seen photos from it were people were petting the tigers. I really wanted my own chance at petting a tiger. The photos I had seen before the trip from the Temple, made it seem like the tigers were awake and free roaming when you meet them. In reality they were chained and asleep. I was told they were sleeping because they are nocturnal, but after goggling the temple I found allegations claiming the animals are in fact drugged to allow tourist to get near them.
Simpson in low light / high contrast - Part 1
by Henrik (29/12/10)
I used some of my free time to photograph Simpson while he was resting in the sun. The was only a small crack of light shining into the room, so he was poorly lit. Which means I had the opportunity to take "artistic" photographs on him.
About low activity and a picture on Simpson
by Henrik (16/11/10)
I haven't felt like posting to this blog for a while now. There are many different reasons for this, but mainly because I chosen to spend my time on other things. I want to get the posting going again so I'll start with a picture on Simpson. Yes, I have plenty of pictures on him to post, but I'll try to post other things as well.

On this picture he is 14 weeks old.

Kleiner Müsterländer
by Henrik (05/10/10)

For one week this summer I got to help my girlfriend take care of a dog. The dog was a 4 year old Kleiner Müsterländer. A breed I never had heard of before. I read about the breed and apparently it is common in Germany but rare in Sweden. The dog was a delight to take care of. I hope to meet her again some day.
