Sunflower
by Henrik (10/08/11)
A very late blog post as the sunflower bloomed weeks ago. Haven't had the time/energy to update the blog until now.

A little smaller and paler than what I had hopped for. I guess I picked the wrong kind of sunflower when selected which seed bag to pick.
Buck bay vygie flower
by Henrik (22/07/11)
The Buck bay vygie has started to bloom with full force. I say with full force because of the intensity of the colors on the flowers. It almost hurts my eyes to look at them in real life (in a good way that is). I will probably post more photos on the flowers in a later post.

Chrysanthemum Greens and Bluehead Gilia
by Henrik (17/07/11)
These two were the first one of the new flowers to bloom this year. So they get to share a blog post.

Under the balcony report.
by Henrik (26/06/11)
It looks like last years flowers managed to spread a few seeds. A few Jasmine tobacco plants and what looks like a sunflower are growing nicely right under my balcony.

Edit: Before this post got published, the flowers got weeded out. It's a little sad that I won't get to see the Sunflower bloom.
More Zamioculca flowers
by Henrik (06/04/11)
The same Zamioculca that flowered two years ago is now blooming again. This time it has two flowers. I didn't notice the first one until I saw the second one and took a closer look on the Zamioculca.

The "old" flower.

The "new" flower.
Jim Thompson's House in Bangkok
by Henrik (10/02/11)
While being in Bangkok we decided to make a visit to Jim Thompson's House. Jim Thompson was man that made his fortune in Thailand and decided to spend it by collecting various traditional Thailand object. Everything from china to houses. The place had a luscious garden that was a sharp contrast against the regular cityscape in bangkok. Here are few photos I took in the garden.

Amaryllis
by Henrik (19/12/10)
I haven't had many Christmas/Winter photos posted this year, so I decided to photograph an Amaryllis we had at home. It is a flower I bought home to give to my SO a few weeks ago. It has been standing in our living room and has helped making our living room more "Christmasish" with its big and bright red flowers.

This photos proves that I need to buy/make some studio lights. I'm having troubles finding enough light to use during this dark time of the year.
White Lilies
by Henrik (09/10/10)
One day my significant other brought home a bouquet of White Lilies. They were probably meant as decoration but to me they were something to photograph. I must say I liked the pictures I was able to take.

Red Sun
by Henrik (05/09/10)
The red sunflowers called Red Sun were amongst the flower I really wanted to see bloom this year. I have cultivated a few of them before. I did it during my first year in the apartment. I think the flowers looks awesome. They almost looks like they have been painted. The reason I didn't cultivated them the other years, is because they grow so tall. I felt they wouldn't have a place to look good on. But this year I knew they would look good behind all the other flowers.

Painted Daisy
by Henrik (29/08/10)
The Painted Daisy plants are back in full force on my balcony. The plants are blooming with several flowers and I'm very happy that I choose to have them again on my balcony.

Scarlet Sage
by Henrik (22/08/10)
The Scarlet Sage plants have really turned out really well. I knew they would give me bright red flowers, but didn't know they would give me so many. They are a delight to have on my balcony and I currently feel that I would like to have them on my balcony again next year.

The Clematis
by Henrik (15/08/10)
The Clematis was a birthday gift I received this year. I was glad when I received it and I'm even more happy over it now. It has really added much color to my balcony and as a bonus it added it on a height that none of my other flowers could reach.

Hallands väderö: A Field chickweed flower
by Henrik (11/08/10)
Last post with photographs from Hallands väderö. I took several photos on different flowers, but this photo on a single Field chickweed flower was the only one I felt was special enough to get posted on this blog.
