Merry Christmas (This year's Christmas card)
by Henrik (24/12/10)
Well, it is this time of the year again. Time to show off this years Christmas card. This is the first year I'm not alone on the Christmas card or did everything myself. Both me and my SO worked on the idea and the drawings.

Christmas tree
by Henrik (31/12/09)
I went out one evening while it was snowing to capture the snow before it melted away (which it did the day after). One of the things I photographed was the city's Christmas tree on the main town square. I took several photos with different exposure, and I ended up liking the over exposed ones the best. Especially when I cut the pictures to take out buildings and parts of the tree. The alterations made the tree turn into something a little more surreal.

And here is a photo on the whole tree, in case anybody was interested in seeing it.

Merry Christmas (This year's Christmas card)
by Henrik (24/12/09)
This year I decided to do a little more professional looking Christmas card than the earlier ones. So instead of cutting and pasting all the cards by myself, I created a picture that I could send off to a printing shop. I had a hard time figuring out what motive I wanted on my Christmas card this year, but did finally decide on drawing myself riding on a (Christmas) giraffe. Thought it would be fun to do a nontraditional Christmas card for once. I created the picture by first drawing a sketch on paper and then scanning it into my computer. Once on the computer I drew new sharper lines over the faint pencil ones and added all the colors.

The finished result. "Merry Christmas and a happy new year from Henrik"
Lussefjärilar (Saffron butterflies)
by Henrik (18/12/09)
For this Christmas I shaped my saffron buns into butterflies. I came up with the design myself, but the production was a team effort by me and my girlfriend. And yes, the result is as delicious as it looks.

Snowboard shaped gingerbread cookies
by Henrik (17/12/09)
This year's I choose to do gingerbread cookies shaped and decorated as snowboards. A design that was very easy to cut out and decorate for me and my girlfriend. The final results was much appreciated by both my snowboarding friends and non-snowboarding friends.

This year I used store bought icing instead of home made to decorate with. It made decorating a whole lot easier.

Christmas cards
by Henrik (02/01/09)
The last two years I have taken the time to "scrapbook" together Christmas cards and send them out to my friends. Not the most advanced work ever, but they have received much appreciation from my friends.

Christmas baking
by Henrik (13 December 2008)
This year I attempted to do Snowflakes gingerbread cookies. I still haven’t learned to apply the icing like a pro. I need some tips.

I decided to do plain regular Saffron buns this year. Couldn’t think of any creative to do this year.

Gingerbread cats
by Henrik (15 December 2007)
Gingerbread cookies are always a part of my Christmas baking. This year I decided to do gingerbread cats. I’m still a novice when it comes to decoration, but I’m happy with the result.

Gingerbread butterflies
by Henrik (3 December 2007)
Christmas two years ago I decided to make gingerbread butterflies. I was very happy with the result.

To cut out the butterflies I used two home-made paper templates. The final icing designs were decided on after several sketches on paper were made.
I have planes for this years gingerbread cookies, but I won’t disclose them just yet.
