Here is the second post with photos from the evening when we played with sparklers [länk]. In this post I'm showing off the photos in which we were also using the flash. The photos were created by using the Bulb mode and setting the flash to fire right before the shutter closes. To explain more thoroughly, my girlfriend presses the trigger and the shutter opens and I start to move around the sparkler. When I'm satisfied with the "drawing", I positioned myself in the pose I want to have on the picture and tell my girlfriend to released the trigger. As soon as the trigger is released, the flash goes off and the shutter closes. Effectively combining a long exposure picture with a quick flash-lit picture.
