On two separate occasions I had the opportunity to photographs a dragonfly. They might not be the pretties insects in the world (that would be butterflies), but the are still fascinating to look at.

While visiting my parents today I got the opportunity to photograph a Dragonfly. The first picture is taken from about 1 meter away, the second one from about half a meter away and the third one really close. Apparently, my camera didn’t frighten it at all.
