During my summer vacation I was at a café called "The view". It is placed on a horst called Hallandsåsen and overlooks a large part of Halland. It is about 100 meters above sea level, which is not that high, but because Halland is so flat, you can see quite far. I didn't think the view was any thing special, so I didn't get any super great photographs out of the visit. But I'm still glad I took the time to visit it because I wanted to see the place where I live in from high up.

This is the coat of arms for the Swedish province named Halland. It is the province in which the city of Halmstad (and me) is in. This coat of arms I photographed is placed on the building for the province's administrative board, which is called Länstyrelsen.

The colors are, as you can see, very dull. I'm guessing that is because the sign might be at least as old as me (almost 30 years that is). It is not because my camera is bad.
