Both the rose plant that I received as a birthday gift and a dear old cutting has been thrown out.

I threw out the rose plant because I one day saw it cover with small mites. Obviously I didn't want any mites in my apartment so it was quickly thrown out.

The cutting was thrown out because it died after I failed the keep it's cup filled with water. I really liked that cutting and thinks it sad that I couldn't take care of it properly.

I tried giving it some water to see if I could revive it, but the water did nothing.
