LEGO Scene: The Warmonger attacks

by Henrik (12/07/10) Email

This is the scene with The Warmonger that I promised to post. It is the second LEGO scene I have created and like the first one it is in the "Imperial revenge" theme. It is depicting a scene from the early stages of the Space Troll invasion. I have keep the scene small and simple because I don't have so many bricks and pieces to use. I'm still working on acquiring an large amount of LEGO pieces.

The scene is not meant to be viewed from more angles than these two. The soldier that is running away has one of those "double face" head, which means that he looks weird when viewed from behind. And the soldier that is caught in the claw does not have a face which fits with the situation. I blame these two faults on my small LEGO collection.

Imperial Revenge backstory: Part 3
Before the Troll invasion, the Humans world consisted of many rivaling states. Monarchies, republics and Theocracies competing against each other for power and wealth. No state had ever seriously considered the existence of life in space, so when the trolls showed up they were not ready to unite against new threat. The Trolls knew the Humans would be confused and disorganized and had hoped this would continue until all humankind was enslaved. But unfortunately for the Trolls, once the Humans received contact with the Xenos, the Humans started to unite and form a strong resistance. The unification of humankind resulted in a new state simply known as the Empire.

I will write more on the Empire as I continue to post LEGO pieces connected to the Imperial revenge theme.
