For this Christmas I shaped my saffron buns into butterflies. I came up with the design myself, but the production was a team effort by me and my girlfriend. And yes, the result is as delicious as it looks.

This year I attempted to do Snowflakes gingerbread cookies. I still haven’t learned to apply the icing like a pro. I need some tips.

I decided to do plain regular Saffron buns this year. Couldn’t think of any creative to do this year.

For this years Lucia day I decided to do a different take on the traditional saffron bun “lussekatt“. I decided to try to make little crocodiles.

Well, I have to admit, they look more like friendly dinosaurs then crocodiles.

I also did a couple of traditional saffron buns.
